**Company:** Cadenza — IT managed services provider **HQ Location:** Charlotte metro, NC — hybrid (remote work + in-office + occasional client site visits) **Type:** Full-time, W2 **Comp:** $45,000–$58,000 depending on experience, plus benefits **Start:** ASAP --- ## About us Cadenza is a Charlotte-based MSP supporting small and mid-sized businesses across construction, medical, and professional services. We manage roughly 30 Microsoft 365 tenants plus a growing Google Workspace footprint, and we run a modern stack — HaloPSA, CIPP, NinjaRMM, Huntress. We're small, which means we care a lot about who we add. ## Why we're hiring Client growth across the board — new agreements, more endpoints, more tenants, and an expanding telephony service line. We need someone to own the front of the queue so nothing sits, and to grow into whatever part of the stack interests them most. ## What you'll do - Own first-touch triage in HaloPSA: intake, categorize, set priority, resolve what you can, escalate cleanly with real notes - Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace user administration — onboarding/offboarding, licensing, mailbox permissions, MFA resets, shared mailboxes and distribution groups - Endpoint support via NinjaRMM — remote sessions, patching follow-up, agent health, hardware troubleshooting - Everyday desktop and application support: Windows, Office, printers, browsers, the stuff that breaks on a Tuesday morning - Basic network troubleshooting — connectivity, Wi-Fi, DNS, ISP escalations - Triage Huntress and security alerts to the right escalation path - Support client phone systems — desk phone provisioning, call routing changes, voicemail, extension moves, call quality complaints - Keep documentation current as you work — if you fixed it, the next person should be able to find it - Occasional onsite visits to Charlotte-area clients for installs, deployments, and hands-on work ## What we need from you - 1+ year in a helpdesk, IT support, or MSP role - Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin — users, licenses, Exchange Online basics - Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and basic networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, what a router actually does) - Clear written communication — most of the job is explaining things to non-technical people in writing - Comfort talking to clients directly, including when they're frustrated - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client sites - Able to pass a background check (several of our clients are in healthcare) ## desirables! - Prior MSP experience, especially with a PSA/RMM workflow - Any VoIP or SIP exposure — FreePBX, Vodia, 3CX, Telnyx, Yealink/Polycom provisioning - PowerShell scripting, even at the copy-paste-and-modify level - Familiarity with HIPAA-adjacent environments - Certs are welcome but not required (MS-900, AZ-900, Network+, CCNA) ## What we offer - Real mentorship and a clear growth path with telephony, security, or project work — we'd rather grow you than replace you - Paid training and certification support - Health benefits and PTO - A stack that isn't held together with tape, and leadership that will actually fix the thing you complain about - No 24/7 on-call grind dumped on the newest hire No agencies, no C2C. Relo assistance negotiable. If you have read this far - we're small, nimble and passionate about who we work with. We want to grow but only with the right people and personalities in place. I love my clients and we want to share our experience with someone who can provide a balance of skills and manners that make our brand shine.
