What You Get Paid $200 per qualified appointment that shows up and meets the criteria below 10% of first-year monthly recurring revenue on every deal that closes Independent Sales Agent — Lead Generation (1099, Commission-Based) Signet | Managed IT, signed and sealed. Seattle / Puget Sound preferred · Remote · 1099 Independent Contractor The Opportunity Signet is a Seattle-area managed service provider handling IT, cybersecurity, networking, physical security, and building technology for 40+ client sites across Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma. We do the work well and our clients stay. What we don't do enough of is talk to new ones. That's the job. You find businesses that need what we do, get them interested, and put a qualified meeting on the calendar. We take it from there. This is a self-directed role. We're not going to hand you a script, a dialer, and a call quota. If your thing is LinkedIn outreach, run it. If it's cold walk-ins to office parks in Bellevue, run that. Referral partnerships with commercial realtors, electricians, or property managers? Even better. How you generate leads is up to you — we care about qualified meetings that turn into clients. What You Get Paid $200 per qualified appointment that shows up and meets the criteria below 10% of first-year monthly recurring revenue on every deal that closes A typical managed IT client runs $1,500–$4,000/month. That's $1,800–$4,800 in commission on a single close, on top of the appointment fee — and you get paid for the meeting whether or not it converts. No territory restrictions. No draw against commission. What Counts as a Qualified Appointment Decision-maker or budget authority is in the room (owner, GM, ops lead, office manager, facilities director) Business has a real IT or building-technology need — not a one-person shop on a consumer router They know who Signet is and have agreed to a 30-minute conversation Meeting is confirmed and actually happens We'll give you a short qualification checklist so there's no ambiguity about what earns the fee. Who We Want You Talking To General SMB — Professional services firms, medical and dental practices, clinics, law offices, retail, nonprofits. Anyone with 10–150 employees who is either running on a break/fix guy who doesn't return calls, or has no IT support at all. Hospitality — Hotels and motels in the Puget Sound region. We do managed guest connectivity, in-room entertainment and streaming, and leak detection. Independent and small-flag properties are a strong fit. Property Management & Commercial Buildings — Multifamily and commercial property managers, building owners, facilities teams. Our building-technology stack covers leak detection, HVAC and BACnet monitoring, CCTV, access control, vape and smoke detection, and structured cabling. Property managers who've been burned by a water event are especially receptive. What Signet Actually Sells You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to describe these credibly: Managed IT & Helpdesk — Flat-rate monthly support, monitoring, patching, and user onboarding Cybersecurity — Endpoint protection, email security, backup and recovery, compliance support Cloud & Microsoft 365 — Migrations, licensing, tenant management, identity Networking — UniFi wireless, SD-WAN, multi-site connectivity Physical Security — CCTV, access control Building Technology — Leak detection, HVAC/BACnet monitoring, vape and smoke detection Structured Cabling — Low-voltage installs and cleanups In-Room Entertainment — Guest streaming and casting systems for hospitality We'll train you on the pitch, provide collateral, and hand you real client stories to use. Who Fits This Role You've sold B2B services before — MSP, telecom, SaaS, commercial services, copiers, security, insurance, staffing. The specific product matters less than the fact that you've cold-started a pipeline from nothing. You're comfortable being told no repeatedly and calling back anyway. You can hold a business conversation about downtime, ransomware, and water damage without needing a technical script. You work without supervision. Nobody is checking your activity log. Puget Sound–based is preferred so you can do in-person meetings and site walks. Remote is workable if you can produce leads that fit our service footprint. Existing relationships with property managers, commercial realtors, contractors, or hospitality operators are a significant advantage. Terms This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement. You set your own hours, use your own equipment, and control your own methods. You are responsible for your own taxes, expenses, and any business licensing. This is not employment, and no benefits are provided. Not exclusive on either side — you can carry other lines as long as they don't compete with ours. We'll put a short written agreement in place covering commission terms, payment timing, and client ownership before you start. How to Apply Email [ [email protected] ](mailto: Hello@si
