MSPMeet
MSPMeet
A good meetup needs only three things: a room, a date and a topic. Start small. Ten people who all work in the same trade will talk more than a hundred strangers. Pick a venue that does not cost anything, such as a coworking space, a vendor office or a quiet cafe with a back room. Choose a weeknight evening and keep it to two hours. Decide on one topic, for example a recent outage, a tool you are evaluating or a security change everyone is dealing with, and invite two people to share a short story about it. Then list it on MSPMeet so people nearby can find it, and add the date to your calendar. Afterwards, post a short note about what you covered. The second meetup is always easier than the first, and the regulars from the first one will help you fill it.
