MSPMeet ("we", "us", or "our") operates the MSPMeet platform, a networking and events service for Managed Service Providers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By creating an account or using MSPMeet, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and subscription plan. You may optionally provide a profile photo, bio, location, and tech stack details.

Location data: If you enable location features, we collect your approximate location (city/region) to show nearby events. Exact coordinates are never stored or shared — only the location name you provide is visible to other users.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform — pages visited, events RSVPed, connections made, and messages sent — to provide and improve the service.

Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by our payment processor. MSPMeet never sees or stores your full card number. Our payment processor's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Communications: Messages you send to other users on MSPMeet are encrypted end-to-end. We cannot read the content of private messages.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the MSPMeet platform
• Process subscription payments via our payment processor
• Send transactional emails (event reminders, connection requests, account notices) via our email service provider
• Show you relevant events and connections based on your location and profile
• Enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
• Respond to support requests and inquiries
• Improve the platform through aggregate, anonymised analytics

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Your data is stored securely on managed infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication uses industry-standard JWT tokens with short expiry windows.

Private messages are end-to-end encrypted — only you and your recipient can read them. MSPMeet staff cannot access message content.

We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including rate limiting, multi-factor authentication support, and regular security reviews.

We share your data only with the following third-party service providers, strictly to operate the platform:

• Payment processor — handles subscription billing and payment data
• Email service provider — delivers transactional emails on our behalf
• Infrastructure provider — database, authentication, and file storage

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MSPMeet, its users, or the public.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data via your profile settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes (such as payment records retained by our payment processor per applicable financial regulations).
